“Thank you JAS, for giving me a place that I belong. A place where I feel safe, supported and loved. I have flourished and learned so much here and it will always have a place in my heart.”
Molly Murphy, Year 13
Year 13, Graduating Class of 2023
“Having joined JAS Yr 7 in 2016, I am now studying A-Level business, art, and psychology. I have my sights set on becoming an interior designer. I’m very proud of what I’ve achieved so far, thanks to my supportive teachers and peers. I feel like everyone should know that without our teachers believing in us, and without their high expectations for everyone regardless of ability, we would not have achieved what we have as a year group.”
Malak Shabaro
“Thank you JAS for the most amazing years of my life. It’s been a privilege growing up within the school’s walls and always feeling welcome. I’m so appreciative of these last 12 years. I’m going to miss the kind, caring, compassionate JAS family!”
Nour Shahin, Year 11
“Although the past two school years were challenging in many ways, my teachers had set high targets for me and guided me through every step. They ensured that I was always aware of the grades I was working at and what I needed to do to reach the next milestone. My goal is to study medicine in Dublin and I am on target to achieve that with thanks to my GCSE results and the support and encouragement I received at JAS.”

Year 11, 2021
“JAS is a place you can call a home away from home. It’s a school that wants to see you thrive and succeed in all aspects of life. Whether in education or practical skills, everyone wants to see you do the best you can. I want to thank all my the teachers for believing in me and the students for their kindness and for making that school what it is today.”
Fraser Hallat
Year 11, 2021
“My mother had been working for the school since 1993 so she knew that this was the best place for me. She had felt the JAS magic. When I arrived, we were a small year group of students. As I have grown the school has grown with me. It has helped me to make friends, supported me as the workload increased, and ensured I have had the resources and the mindset to reach my full potential. I developed from not believing I could ever go to university by myself to receiving offers from all the universities I applied to and then reaching As and A*s at A Levels. The school changed my mindset and that helped me reach those grades and taught me to always be kind. Jebel Ali latches on to you and will never let go. It keeps you safe.”
