ADMISSIONS AVAILABILITY
We are a popular and oversubscribed school and generally operate at full capacity. Depending on the year group, waiting lists may be open or closed as outlined below. Where waiting lists are open, we accept applications in anticipation of future withdrawals, and places are offered as they become available. Please note that availability cannot be guaranteed, as applications typically exceed the number of anticipated spaces.
For Year 12 / Sixth Form entry, availability varies depending on the A-Level or BTEC subjects of study – please enquire to learn more.
Availability Definitions:
- Open: Places are currently available.
- Waiting List Open: No availability at present, but applications are being accepted onto the waiting list. Offers are made from the waitlist as spaces come available.
- Closed: The waiting list has reached capacity and no further applications are being accepted. (Applications from JAS staff, siblings, and former students may still be considered.)

Waitlist Priority of Applications:
- We give priority to applicants who:
- Are children of a member of our school staff or Board
- Have a sibling at Jebel Ali School
- Are UAE Nationals
If the year group you wish to apply for is closed, you may consider applying at Dubai British School Mira (Opening in 2025/26 for FS1-Y6), Dubai British School Jumeirah Park Foundation (Years FS1 & FS2), Dubai British School Jumeirah Park (Years 1 to 13), or Dubai British School Jumeira (FS1 to Year 6).
