a unique look

From Foundation, through primary school and secondary school, each stage of the Jebel Ali School journey is recognised with its own unique uniform.

Sixth Form students are asked to remember that they are role models for students across the school, and seen as working adults. They should wear clothes that are comfortable, practical and business- like.

Our dress code has been carefully considered to make sure students look smart, feel comfortable and show respect for local culture.

All uniform items can be bought in store or online from Stitches in Al Quoz, who can be contacted on 04 348 6110 or by email at onlineorder@stitches.ae . Stitches opening hours have changed – they are now open EVERYDAY from 9am – 7pm.

The PTA operates a second-hand uniform shop in the school cafeteria. Please email pta@jebelalischool.org to book an appointment.

JAS PE Kit FAQs

Where do I park when I want to visit the shop?

There are parking spaces outside the front, side and back of the main school building. Look for the Kukri sign and then come into the main reception. There’s a picture of the building here.

How much is the new PE kit?

T-shirt – AED 99.75 (inc VAT)
Shorts – AED 94.50 (inc VAT)
Home Delivery – Add around AED30 per order

When is the shop open?

Sunday – Wednesday 09:00 – 18:00
Thursday 09:00-17:00

Why is the new PE kit more expensive than before?

Because the Kukri kit is made from better fabric that lasts longer and is breathable

Where can we see samples of the kit at school?

Though Kukri is an online store, kit samples may be made available in temporary Kukri pop-up shops. Details to follow.

What options are there for students who want to dress more modestly?

Long sleeve tops can continue to be worn under the PE t-shirt and students can also choose to wear their own navy tracksuit bottoms. More options will be added to the Kukri online shop shortly.

Do I choose ‘Unisex Kids’, ‘Women’s’ or ‘Unisex Adult’ sizes?

It’s a good idea to visit the Kukri shop to check out different sizes. There are no restrictions on what size or range you choose and it’s up to you to pick the most comfortable size for your child/children. For example, a Year 7 student can choose a ‘Unisex Kids’ size if it fits.

Can we use old PE kit to help us get the right size of new kit?

If your son or daughter has previously represented any school sports teams and you still have the Kukri kit, you’ll find that the new PE kit is the same size. Old Stitches kit however, won’t be the same size.

What happens when I arrive at the shop?

You will be able to see all the sizes in the shop and hold them up against your son or daughter. You will also have the opportunity to fill in the sizing form, which you can use as a reference when you order your PE kit.

Can I exchange or refund PE kit items?

Yes – you can exchange items and get a refund if the items still have the tags on.
