The Jebel Ali School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) was inaugurated in November 1977 with 65 people attending and has been working ever since to improve the educational experience of the children of Jebel Ali School.
The PTA is a voluntary organisation, formed by parents and teachers with the principle purpose of supporting the school, its parents, children and staff and bringing the school community together. The many events organised by the PTA throughout the school year raise valuable funds for the school – none of which would be possible without the hard work of the committee and also those parents, teachers and staff who volunteer throughout the year.
After consultation with the school community, the funds raised are used to purchase additional equipment for the school. Examples of purchases over the many years of fundraising include laptops and other technology, sponsorship of Jebel Ali School sports teams, huge amounts of classroom, sports and drama equipment, a library, external landscaping of the children’s play space at KS1, cameras, KS1 gardens for the children and outside items such as water tables and benches. There have been many varied items purchased by the PTA each and every year to benefit all the children of Jebel Ali School.
The PTA is always open to suggestions for the Wish List throughout the year from parents and staff, so please fill out the form below with your ideas and suggestions.
