Swim Squad Assessment

The PE Department will be conducting time trials to aid our selection for the JAPS Swim Squad. The trials will take place at the following times:

YR 5&6 Monday 10 September 2pm-3.15pm

YR 4 Tuesday 11 September 2pm-3.15pm

YR 3 Wednesday 12 September 2pm-3.15pm

If your child wishes to be considered for swim squad they must attend these trials. Please note that, even if your child has previously been a member of swim squad, they must attend the trials to be considered for this year’s squad.

Swim squad is a rewarding opportunity but due to its nature is selective. We appreciate that your child may be disappointed if not selected.

In swim squad Year 5&6 children will be swimming between 30 and 50 lengths per session. Year 3&4 children will be swimming between 20 and 40 lengths. This should be considered when assessing if swim squad is right for your child.
